At this workshop Emma and Rachel from AtYoga will take you through an inspiring practice experience that will invite you to explore the concept and process of change through a structured and supportive practice journey.
This day will provide you with a space to start the new year with a mindful resolve around the concept of Embracing Change. We will access yoga as a medium for exploring how change affects us on a personal level and how this can impact on our personal practice of yoga in daily life. This workshop space will invite you to connect to the most subtle forms of change experienced in body, mind and energy and will we will give accessible and practical techniques for supporting and embracing change on and off the mat.
There will be a variety of techniques explored including some gently uplifting asana that will provide a structure for invesitgating individual anatomical habits and movement patterns, the idea is that once we know where to find our 'knots' we can set about the process of undoing them. Pranayama, Meditation and Relaxation techniques will enable participants to delve into a deeply tranquil space within which a release through the body, mind and vital energies will be explored.
