AtYoga weekly classes aim to offer a space for each individual to connect to themselves through yoga. I endeavour to facilitate a space for self-reflection, growth, development and transformation on a physical, mental, emotional and energetic level.
I do not have a dogmatic approach to practice, I aim to give an exploratory experience of the practice of yoga, and to enable those attending my classes genuine and authentic direct experience. I invite all levels of practice, from complete beginners to long term practitioners and teachers. I endeavour to tailor make the practice to suit the individuals’ needs and I take a considered approach to teaching in accordance with individual ability.
My classes do not specifically focus on Asana (yoga postures). Whilst the asana is a strong thread carried through in all classes, I bring equal emphasis to Relaxation, Meditation and Pranayama (yoga breathing exercises).
My classes are welcoming and open by nature - come along and see for yourself!
I offer different pay schemes enabling people to either drop in or pay upfront for a certain number of classes, and also offer some spare equipment for students to access during sessions. Email me if you have any queries at all: firstname.lastname@example.org
Mondays: 7.15pm - 8.30pm

Details: A friendly welcoming class of mixed abilities of all ages and levels of practice. This class offers a space to unwind and refresh at the start of the week. The class brings a mix of dynamic and restorative physical practice, breathing techniques and deep relaxation bringing a sense of balance and well being.

Thursdays: 10.30am – 11.45am

Details: Suitable for all levels of practice with a balanced mix of Asana. Pranayama, meditation and relaxation.

Details: Runs all year, a busy and vibrant class with a multitude of different levels of practice attending. Open to members and non-members. The class caters for all levels and offers dynamic, restorative and relaxation practices.

When Emma Lloyd walked into my class eight years ago as the new yoga teacher she was a breath of fresh air and I knew she was an extraordinary teacher there and then. Emma's knowledge and experience of yoga is profound and authentic. For the student this means you are in safe hands whatever your level of practice or ability and you can have the confidence to explore for yourself, guided by Emma's incredible expert instruction. In class Emma really does create a special space with her lovely, warm personality, humour and humility and she makes it a very personal journey, however large the class is… it’s ‘your' journey and though Emma will guide you she will also encourage you to be your own guide and listen to yourself and your own body. She makes it about you and that is her gift. I have known Emma as a teacher for 8 years and all I can say is that I feel her teaching is constantly evolving as Emma shares her new discoveries and influences.
